Star Wars The Old Republic Hosts Player Owned Strongholds In New Expansion

Building on Electronic Arts’ 18 month old MMORPG, Star Wars The Old Republic is making its way to the personalized side of the force with new additions coming soon.

With over 1 million users each month, The Old Republic is building on its success with features long requested from Jedi and Sith alike in Strongholds and Guild Flagships. Show off your wares and conquests throughout the galaxy with your selection of homes on Tatooine, Dromund Kaas, Nar Shaddaa, Coruscant, and park your many starships in a place you can call home. Shown as “multiplayer flagships that can be used to conquer planets clear across the other side of the galaxy,” Guild Flagships will be your home away from home with your team at your side at any time in The Old Republic.

With no set date for the coming additions to The Old Republic, it may be some time before you’ll see the changes come to life, but word of these changes should give you a spring of hope that EA is listening and working for the consumer.
